New - Fire Stick!

New to the Shendao syllabus is the Fire Stick Form. Although based on a much older form, it has been changed and adapted enough to be unique to Shendao kung Fu. The form teaches the practitioner techniques that utilise a simple walking stick for health and self defense. Possibly the most effective self defense weapon, it has been used throughout china and more recently In Europe developing into the French martial art, La Canne. From a health perspective, the “fire stick” focuses on strengthening the heart, which in Chinese medicine improves mental clarity, sleep, energy levels and a sense of Joy in life.
